Cybersecurity Training Programs
Our training program is design with you in mind. We understand your busy and hectic life style, so we offer a flexible training schedule to suit your needs and ensure a healthy conducive environment for developing the skills and competencies required for today’s cybersecurity and cloud career. As such, training sessions are scheduled for Saturday’s and Weekday Evenings, Monday through Friday 6 pm to 9 pm for a total of 6 hours each week. Individual may choose to train and learn from the comfort of their home, online or classroom training or a combination of both. Whatever you’re needs are, we’re here to provide you with the resources you need to succeed
The only prerequisite is ‘YOU’! Your ability to comprehend and learn the concept taught in the classroom as well as the hand-on exercises in IT Lab. Your determination, passion for learning and the drive to succeed is the key. Our instructors are highly skilled in multiple IT field with unparalleled experience committed to empowering individuals to succeed in their chosen career. Several industrial certifications are in demand in today’s cyber-landscape. The combination of these certifications in coordination with right IT skill set and competencies will go a long way to jump-start or take your career to the next level. However, certification without the accompanied skills set and industrial competencies may striven your career goals.
Vobalink is committed to helping individuals develop and acquire the required skills as well as the capabilities to effective perform the job functions of your chosen career. Note that all training programs run between 6 to 12 weeks and subject to the career path chosen. Students are expected to successfully complete all requirement of a career in 4 to 6 months. Hard work, dedication, commitment and passion for information technology are the key to a successful and rewarding career in cloud/cybersecurity. Therefore, in preparation for your training we recommended the following:
- Possess a personal Laptop or Desktop Computer
Have basic understanding and use of a Laptop or Desktop. - Have access to stable internet connection
- Maintain 6 hours of study/hand-on practice exercise time per week for a successful outcome
- Be prepared to register for the certification exam for which you are training for, the 4th week into a 6 weeks training and 6th week into an 8 week training.
- Take the certification exam 2 weeks after completion of course or training for the best possible outcome

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is the second level of Cisco’s five-level career certification process. A CCNA certification certifies a technician’s ability to install, set up, configure, troubleshoot and operate a medium-sized routed and switched computer network. This also includes implementing and verifying connections to a wide area network (WAN). A CCNA three-year certification is obtained by passing Cisco Exam No.640-802 or by taking two other exams with passing scores: ICND1 No.640-822 and ICND2 No.640-816. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
The Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is an independent information security certification granted by the International Information System Security Certification Consortium, also known as (ISC)². The CISSP curriculum covers subject matter in a variety of Information Security topics. The CISSP examination is based on what (ISC)² terms the Common Body of Knowledge (CBK). Systems Administrator
A systems administrator is responsible for all hardware and software for a company’s computers. They are required to stay up to date with installing the latest patches and programs. The systems administrator also provides technical support to employees, troubleshooting any computer-related issues.
Network Administrator
A network administrator maintains the company network, troubleshooting issues as well as fixing connectivity problems. The network administrator installs new networking systems with the aim of improving speed and security. They are also responsible for maintaining the security of the entire network.
Cybersecurity Analyst
The cybersecurity analyst is responsible for protecting both company networks and data. In addition to managing all ongoing security measures, the analyst is also responsible for responding to security breach and protecting company hardware, such as employee computers.
Security Engineer
Security engineers are tasked with planning and executing a company’s information security strategy and maintaining all security solutions. They can also be responsible for documenting the security posture of their organization and any issues or measures taken under their watch.
Security Consultant
The security consultant is responsible for evaluating a company’s security posture on a contract basis, while also serving as an advisor to other IT employees. The goal of the consultant is threat management and they will often plan, test, and manage the initial iterations of a company’s security protocols.
Information Security Assessor
The information security assessor reviews and makes recommendations about the security posture of a company. They do this by interviewing IT employees, reviewing the security of the network, and testing for vulnerabilities. The assessor also reviews the security policies of the company.
Information Security Analyst
The information security analyst is responsible for protecting the company network and maintaining all defense against an attack. The analyst may also implement the company’s disaster recovery plan in the event of network outages.
Information Security Manager
The information security manager develops policies and procedures aimed at securing the company network. They oversee information security analyst while ensuring that the company complies with information security standard and norms. As a manager, they are responsible for hiring and training new information security analysts.
Cybersecurity Engineer
A cybersecurity engineer is the architect of a company’s network security. They build, install, and maintain web content filters, firewalls, network sniffers, router access control list, and more. As an engineer, you will be responsible for creating roadblocks and honeypots for any would-be hackers while monitoring all activity in order to improve defences.
